Keeping it Simple

Quality web design always incorporates simplicity (KISS Web Design). For example, if a user lands on an overly busy and distracting page, they may feel overwhelmed. This leads to a user leaving the website to find what they need elsewhere. Simplicity is about minimizing content to just the basics and ensuring the web page is easy to navigate and intuitive. It takes under 3 seconds for visitors to decide to stay or go! This means keeping the structure and links minimum and adequately organizing the site.

Focusing on the KISS Principle, also known as keeping it simple, always helps design, develop, and deploy an effective website. KISS, also known as keeping it simple, keeps things simple for website visitors. After all, if a website is simple and easy to navigate or use, users are more inclined to continue exploring it. Alternatively, potential visitors will leave the website. Hence, creating a quality user experience should always be a priority for web design.

In addition to keeping a website, simple fundamental principles of psychology in web design should also be implemented. For example, color, layout, and, more importantly, solid, unique content.
